HOW LIVE ONLINE GROUP COACHING WORKS

Our online group coaching takes place over 3 weeks to give you time to process and embed the learning.

You receive 3 x 1.5 hour Zoom coaching sessions with your group.

Each coaching session includes a one hour presentation with 30 minutes of questions and scenarios at the end.

The program costs £99.

3 weeks - 3 meetings - 90 minute sessions

  • Wednesday 9th October, 7pm - 8.30pm BST

  • Wednesday 16th October, 7pm - 8.30pm BST

  • Wednesday 23rd October, 7pm - 8.30pm BST

All sessions will be recorded and a link shared with you afterwards in case you can’t make the live session.

You will also receive access to our library of pre-recorded self defence videos and PDF safety checklists.

 

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN WEEKLY

Week 1 - The Reality of Violence, De-escalation & Prevention

You will learn what ‘real’ self defence is and how it is different to what you see in movies and martial arts classes.

We take a deep dive into the reality of violence, the different types of attacks and the motivations of attackers. This understanding gives you the upper hand on how to avoid becoming a victim.

You will learn a simple process for setting boundaries and discover how and when to use verbal de-escalation.

We watch a selection of real-life case study videos to learn what can be done differently and we discuss different scenarios and responses.

 

Week 2 - Analysing Your Environment & Unleashing Your Superpowers

You will learn how to be aware of and analyse your environment and the people around you to detect dangerous situations.

You discover your superpowers - your gut instinct, your mindset and the use of your body’s natural adrenaline response.

You will learn how to become an ‘undesirable target’ for predators with simple changes.

We discuss your daily concerns and situations that you find worrying, and solutions to make you feel more confident.

 

Week 3 - How to Respond Physically

You will learn the simple and effective techniques you need to defend yourself and get away to safety.

These self defence moves work for people of all ages and abilities.

They are easy to remember and easy to use.

You don’t need to be strong, it doesn’t matter if you are small - they just work.

What we teach is based on Special Forces techniques and skills that Dene has learnt throughout his 30+ year career in security.

We discuss and demonstrate different scenarios such as:

  • What to do if someone tries to strangle you

  • How to escape a hair grab

  • What to do if someone pins you on the floor

  • How to escape a rear grab and ambush.

I’m Dene Josham and I’ll be your coach and teacher for the 3 week program.

I’m sharing what I’ve learnt over 30 years working in security and dealing with violence.

My career has included everything from working the doors in pubs and clubs to bodyguarding celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Russell Crowe.

I’ve provided private security in some of the world’s most hostile environments, as well as undercover surveillance assignments, and I’ve trained government security and close protection teams.

In my younger years, I trained in mixed martial arts and fought at a professional level and I’ve also experienced street violence and the darker side of humanity.

I wish we didn’t live in a world that needs self defence but that is the reality we live in today.

I started this course to share my knowledge and skills to help people keep themselves and their families safer.

I look forward to coaching you and sharing this journey with you.

    For this you get 3 x 90 minute group coaching sessions, plus access to our online library of demonstration videos and downloads.

    The coaching sessions take place over Zoom.

  • Dene is trained in trauma and having experienced significant trauma in his life he understands its impact.

    Our approach is sensitive and empowering and we give you advance warning of videos or demonstrations that you may find triggering.

    That said, violence is a difficult subject and you may find yourself triggered.

    We suggest seeking support from family and friends as well as looking at professional help. We offer sources of support to do this.
